There was something about the multi-layered linear geometry of this scene that grabbed me: the blocks of the building, the bars of the fence, and the ramrod pseudo-goosestep of our strolling smoker across the squared sidewalk all supplied impressive symmetrical harshness (undermined, of course, by the kitty-cat tote bag).
